Hi Guys,

I wanted to know a little bit about how the credits are being used by the mentor.

I gave my first case, my mentor checked my case and we had a hour's long skype session.

now he has deducted 2 Credits off my balance.

1 for the skype session and another for checking the case.

Is this how it works? Is this the same for everyone?

Because I dont remember this while signing up for the course.

Thanks/ Regards

They're your credits so you choose how to use them - not your mentor. If you don't want to have a skype session, then don't. Your mentor can't dictate how you use credits.

I had a mentor who insisted on doing this and I dropped him. I don't see the need for any skype session beyond the initial orientation one which is free anyway.

If you don't like your mentor's style, get a new one. I did.

Thanks for the reply Michael.

But now in my case, since the Skype session is done plus the case is also marked. Is there a policy in Prepformula that allows them to take out 2 credits for these 2 activities? Initially I thought 1 case marking and skype is 1 credit.

Thanks

Before I started, I was aware that a marked case and a skype session would be 2 credits. I don't know if I read it online or if my mentor told me in a message.

It seems that you'll probably have to accept the use of 2 credits and move on.

You could plead your case to Mike but no guarantees of course.
